Urualla is a historic clan located in Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria. It is one of the major ancient communities that make up the Ideato region — a name derived from “Ide” (meaning strong or great) and “Ato” (meaning three) — representing the three principal clans of the old Ideato. The town of Urualla also serves as the headquarters of Ideato North, reflecting its central role in the political and cultural identity of the area. The people of Urualla trace their ancestry to a proud lineage of industrious, peace-loving, and community-driven forebears who valued unity, tradition, and progress. Over time, Urualla grew into a federation of eight major communities — including Umuezemeazu, Uzoakoli, Ozu, Ozuomee, Umuago-Ndide, Umuakoli, and others — bound together by shared customs and kinship.
To unite all Urualla people globally under one umbrella of peace, progress, and cultural continuity — ensuring that our shared history remains a living legacy for generations to come.
Unity, Peace, and Progress
To unite all sons and daughters of Urualla, preserve our cultural heritage, and drive sustainable development through education, community projects, and effective local leadership.
